The biggest mistake you could make is to confuse your customers with too many messages. Only deliver one message at a time. If you goal is to sell your product, your message should clearly ask for the sale. However, if you want to gather leads or get seminar sign-ups, focus on getting exactly that and not one thing more. When your customer isn't clear on exactly what you want them to do, they won't do anything.
